Job summary
MediLodge of Gaylord in Gaylord, MI seeks a registered dietitian to lead nutritional care for residents in a long-term care setting. You will assess residents, plan dietary care in coordination with the Food Service Director, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Dietetics or related field and RD licensure, with preferred ServSafe certification. Experience in long-term care nutrition is a plus, and opportunities for growth are available
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
- Registered Dietitian with appropriate state licensure/certification.
- ServSafe Food Safety Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintains clinical nutrition documentation for residents in accordance with Nursing Center policy and procedure, and state/federal regulations.
- Coordinates with Food Service Director/Manager to review and customize menus to meet resident preferences.
- Participates in interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans.
