Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetics Registration.
• Licensed dietitian as required by state regulations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards.
• Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and interventions for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Educate patients, families, nursing, food service and staff on nutritional needs.
• Document assessments and interventions in the medical record.
• Communicate with physicians and clinical staff on patient nutrition status.
• Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements.
• Attend patient rounds and support regulatory compliance with nutrition policies.
