HHS in Lorain, OH is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join Mercy Health Regional Medical Center-Lorain. This full-time role (32–40 hrs/week) offers a starting rate of $30/hr, negotiable by experience, and supports inpatient and outpatient nutrition care.

Qualifications

• RD license via Commission on Dietetic Registration and state licensure per regulations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards.
• Computer experience with word processing and spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and interventions for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Educate patients, families, and staff on nutritional needs.
• Document assessments and interventions in the medical record.
• Coordinate with physicians and clinical staff on nutrition status.
• Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements.
• Attend rounds and uphold nutrition policies for regulatory compliance.
