Job summary

Medical Hill Healthcare in the United States is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our team on a full-time basis. The RD will provide individualized nutrition care and collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support residents' nutritional health.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition, current RD/RDN credentials, and California licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
Current RD/RDN credential.
California licensure or eligibility required.
Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
Collaborative, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents.
Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans.
Monitor dietary status, weight trends, intake, and related health needs.
Make appropriate dietary recommendations based on residents’ medical conditions.
Collaborate with nursing, physicians, dietary staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
Participate in care planning meetings and provide nutrition-related recommendations.
Monitor and document residents’ progress and update nutrition plans as needed.
Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff when appropriate.
Ensure compliance with applicable dietary, clinical, and regulatory standards.
Support quality improvement initiatives related to nutrition and resident care.
