Job summary

Crossroads is seeking a Registered Dietitian to support clients’ nutritional health and recovery. You will work with a multidisciplinary treatment team to develop individualized nutrition plans, provide education and counseling, and help clients achieve treatment goals.

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive nutrition assessments, developing meal plans for recovery from eating disorders and co-occurring disorders, providing weekly counseling, leading education groups, supervising

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field is required
• Registered Dietitian credential required
• Experience with eating disorders, substance use disorders, or mental health populations preferred
• Minimum of two years of professional experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for newly admitted clients
• Develop individualized meal plans to support recovery from eating disorders and co-occurring substance use disorders
• Provide individual nutrition counseling sessions at least weekly
• Facilitate nutrition education groups and healthy recovery-focused programming
• Support and supervise meals while modeling healthy food behaviors
• Educate staff and family members on meal plan support and nutritional recovery
• Collaborate with treatment team members to monitor client progress and adjust nutrition goals as needed
• Coordinate aftercare planning with community providers
• Maintain documentation in accordance with agency and CARF standards
• Assist in creating a safe, supportive, and therapeutic treatment environment
