Job summary

Discovery Behavioral Health is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join a compassionate, multidisciplinary treatment team in Greenwich, CT. You will champion nutritional healing as part of whole-person care and support patients in rebuilding healthy relationships with food.

Under supervision of a licensed RDN, you will deliver individualized nutrition care, participate in residential and virtual programming, and collaborate with medical and clinical staff to align nutrition with

Qualifications

ACEND-approved didactic program in nutrition and dietetics and degree earned.
Completion of a Dietetic Internship.
CDR licensure and applicable state licensure.

Responsibilities

Deliver evidence-based nutrition care by assessing weight, vitals, labs, and dietary needs and developing treatment plans.
Communicate weekly treatment goals across the interdisciplinary team.
Lead developmentally appropriate dietary groups to support learning and behavior change.
Provide therapeutic meal support and milieu interventions.
Collaborate with physicians and psychiatrists on medical and psychiatric nutritional needs.
Supervise Diet Technicians when applicable.
Maintain timely clinical documentation meeting regulations and standards.
Support program growth through outreach and representation of the clinical model.
Assist with trainings, competency validations, and ongoing professional development.
