Job summary

Center For Discovery in Beverly Hills, CA seeks a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to lead nutritional care within a compassionate, multidisciplinary team. You will empower patients to rebuild relationships with food, support medical and psychological recovery, and contribute to a safe, evidence-based clinical environment.

You will work under a licensed RD, supervise Diet Technicians as applicable, and participate in meals, family programming, and program development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ACEND-approved DPD.
• Dietetic Internship completed.
• CDR license and state license where applicable.
• 1 year of experience in dietary services preferred.
• CPI certification within 90 days of hire.
• CPR, AED and First Aid; ServSafe within 30 days of hire.
• Current Driver’s License in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized, evidence-based nutrition care by assessing weight, vitals, labs, and dietary needs; develop treatment plans for medical stability and recovery.
• Identify and communicate weekly treatment goals; ensure alignment with interdisciplinary team.
• Facilitate dietary groups that promote insight, skill-building, and behavior change.
• Provide therapeutic meal support and milieu interventions to reinforce recovery.
• Collaborate with physicians and psychiatrists on nutritional needs.
• Coordinate with families for education and support, especially for adolescents.
• Ensure seamless transitions across admission, midpoint, and discharge.
• Support food service operations, inventory management, procurement, budget oversight, and safety standards.
• Supervise Diet Technicians when applicable; maintain clinical documentation.
• Contribute to program growth through outreach, tours, and representation of the clinical model.
• Participate in trainings, competency validations, and ongoing professional development.
• Provide on-call support for RTC and assist with transportation and medications as needed.
