Job summary

Prestige Healthcare Partners is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to support residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting in Utica, NY. The RD will assess nutritional status, develop care plans, and collaborate with nursing, medical staff, and the interdisciplinary team to optimize resident health.

Responsibilities include menu reviews, nutrition education, EMR documentation, and participation in audits and quality initiatives. A RN?

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian credential required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
• Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations.
• Comfortable working with EMR and computer-based menu systems.

• Address weight changes, skin integrity, nutrition support, and special dietary needs.
• Monitor meals and ensure prescribed diets and modifications are followed.
• Collaborate with nursing, medical staff, SLPs, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff.
• Review menus and diet changes for compliance with facility, state, and federal guidelines.
• Oversee nutrition-related audits, weight monitoring, and quality initiatives.
• Work closely with the dietary team to promote excellent resident care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR and dietary/menu software.

This is a great opportunity for an RD who enjoys working closely with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality nutritional care.

Compensation: $80,000 - $87,500 depending on experience

What You’ll Do

• Assess and monitor residents’ nutritional status and develop individualized care plans
