Job summary

Assesses dietary needs and plans therapeutic diets for inpatientsbased on patient’s current health concerns. Analyses effects of interventions.Collaborates with Physician, Nursing and therapists to improve patientoutcomes. Oversees and implements preparation and service of meals for patients.in the hospital. Responsible for oversight of dietary staff and theirperformance as well as ensuring the dietary department is in compliance withcompany guidelines; state, federal and other governing bodies laws andregulations.

Assures patients areconsistently served diets as ordered following guidelines for meal times andmeal temperatures.
