Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian for a full-time, onsite role at Mississippi State Hospital in Whitfield, MS. You will assess nutritional needs, implement interventions, and support patient quality of life in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities include educating the care team, adhering to standards of practice, and collaborating across departments to enhance dining services and nutrition programs. Licensure and ongoing education are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in nutrition and Master’s in Nutrition or related field.
• CDR exam completion or eligibility per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements.
• CE hours every five years as per CDR.
• State licensure/certification required or eligible.
• Knowledge of regulations for comprehensive assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of quality improvement programs.
