Job summary

Beechwood Health and Rehabilitation Center in New London, CT is seeking an enthusiastic part-time Dietitian to join our caregiving team. You will assess nutritional needs and create individualized meal plans to support residents’ health.

Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, monitoring nutrition status, and providing education to residents, families, and staff. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams will be essential to enhance overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.
• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensure or certification in good standing (as applicable).
• Knowledge of state survey processes and nutrition regulations is a plus.

• Monitor and document residents' nutritional status and progress.

• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve residents' overall health and well-being.

• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field.

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.

• Hold a Certification/License in good standing
