Mount Carmel Care Center in Lenox, MA is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) on a part-time basis to deliver clinical nutrition support for our residents in a faith-based, non-profit long-term care setting.

You will work with the clinical team to provide nutrition care, ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines, and utilize Point Click Care for documentation. This position requires 10 hours per week and offers a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• RD registration with the Commission of Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• MS or BS in Dietetics and completion of a dietetic internship.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Long-Term Care.
• Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy best practices.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulatory guidelines, MDS, and LTC nutrition standards.
• Excellent client services, organization and communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Point Click Care.

Twice voted \"Best of the Berkshires\", we are sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm since 2013 and maintain a mission-based environment for our staff and residents.

We are seeking to hire aRegistered Dietitian – Part-Time.

• $40 to $54 per hour based on skills and experience.


• 10 hours per week.

Registered Dietitian Qualifications:

• Active Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) registration through the Commission of Dietetic Registration of the American Dietetic Association.


• MS or BS degree plus completion of a dietetic internship program.


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Long-Term Care.


• Knowledge of current best practices in medical nutrition therapy.


• Strong knowledge of State and Federal regulatory guidelines, MDS and standards impacting Clinical Nutrition department in Long-Term Care.


• Excellent client services, organization and communication skills are essential.


• Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Point Click Care.
