Job summary

CareOne at Brookline is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to oversee nutritional care for residents in our long-term care and short-term rehab setting. The RD will conduct nutritional assessments, participate in care planning, and provide counseling to residents and families.

Applicants must hold a Registered Dietitian license in the state, be comfortable with enteral nutrition and MDS 3.0, and have strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must possess Registered Dietitian licensure within the state of operations.
• At least one year of experience in a long-term care setting.
• Familiarity with MDS 3.0 and enteral nutrition.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with electronic charting and the Nutrition Care Process preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nutritional care of residents and patients by completing nutritional assessments.
• Participate in care planning meetings as required.
• Provide nutritional counseling and education for residents and family.
• Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards.
• Perform duties independently without training or direction.

We have a need for a Full-Time Registered Dietician

The Registered Dietician will be responsible for, but not limited to:

Salary range $70K - $90K annually

Compensation will be based on, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, credentials, employment status, and work schedule

• Coordinate nutritional care of residents and patients by completing nutritional assessments
• Participate in care planning meetings as required
• Provide nutritional counseling and education for residents and family
• Meet DOH/state/federal and company standards 5. Perform duties independently without training or direction

Position Requirements

• Must possess Registered Dietician licensure within the state of operations
• High comfort level with enteral nutrition
• At least one year of experience in a long-term care setting
• Experience with MDS 3.0
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Experience with electronic charting and the Nutrition Care Process preferred
• Familiarity with state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulations
