Job summary

Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, MO is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian to join our clinical nutrition team. This role uses NCP ADIME processes to assess, diagnose, intervene, and monitor patient nutrition care; RD will work on-site 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM with flexibility, totaling 24 hours per week, including occasional weekends.

The RD contributes to staff education, supports performance improvement, and maintains adherence to Standards of Practice and CAP Level II requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Registered Dietitian – Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) required.
• Licensed Dietitian (KS) required.
• Licensed Dietitian (MO) required.

Responsibilities

• Apply Nutrition Care Process (NCP) with ADIME: assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Promote department improvements and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Serve as a resource for staff and students in clinical nutrition.
• Align practice with Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional Performance.

Job Description The Opportunity: Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit is looking for a full time Registered Dietitian. This person is accountable for using Nutrition Care Process (NCP, ADIME-assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation). Within the organizational structure of clinical nutrition, the RD functions independently and is a resource contributing to the professional development of clinical staff and/or students at the patient care level. They demonstrate initiative to promote change in the department, recognizing opportunities for improvement. They will also participate in performance improvement activities. The RD demonstrates competency in the Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional of Performance and they meet requirements for CAP Level II requirements.

Shifts: On Site 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible) 24 hours a week Occasional Weekends (every 5th/6th weekend) Holiday Rotation
