Job summary

Volunteers of America National Services (VOANS) through Senior Community Care of Kentucky PACE seeks a Registered Dietitian in Florence, KY. This hands-on clinical role supports nutrition care, menu planning, and counseling within the PACE program, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to serve older adults in a community setting.

Ideal candidates are RD/RDN eligible, with strong communication, caregiving approach, and the ability to follow care plans.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (RD/RDN).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and means of transportation.
• Must clear background check.
• Must have medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs and develop/implement care plans.
• Report results and monitor weights and diagnoses as part of the IDT.
• Provide nutritional counseling and education for program participants.
• Oversee and manage dining program and monitor meals and diet compliance.
• Attend required in-services and complete online modules.
