Job summary

Marathon Health is a leading advanced primary care provider partnering with employer plan sponsors to deliver value-based care across onsite, nearsite, and virtual centers. The Registered Dietitian Nutritionist provides Medical Nutrition Therapy to individuals and groups, focusing on weight management, diabetes care, cardiovascular health, and prevention of chronic conditions through nutrition.

The RD works with the Population Health and Wellness Team under clinical guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and 2+ years as clinical RD; CDR registered.
• Licensed as a Dietitian in the state(s) where services are provided.
• ACEND-accredited coursework and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Apply medical nutrition therapy to improve health across lifespans.
• Assess readiness to change and set goals with patients and care team.
• Lead workshops, lunch and learns, and group nutrition education.
• Document goals in the electronic medical record and share with clinicians.
• Provide nutritional consults and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Schedule appointments and support internal referrals.
