Summary
National Enrichment Group is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist SPANISH SPEAKING. The Program Nutritionist must be enthusiastic and exhibit a high degree of professionalism, a strong commitment to the communities we serve, and demonstrate the ability to motivate and educate. The Nutritionist will work with NYEG’s partnering agencies including Senior Living Services and other potential partners.

Job Responsibilities
National Enrichment Group is seeking several reliable, self-motivated, independent, fun-loving, senior (65+) Nutrition Education Instructors to join our team. The successful instructor ensures that lessons remain fun and engaging while facilitating in-person nutrition education classes. Each class will be customized to fit the needs, goals, and interests of students. The instructor must be enthusiastic and exhibit a high degree of professionalism, a strong commitment to the communities we serve, and demonstrate the ability to motivate, inspire and educate.

• Provide comprehensive nutritional assessment of seniors, such as food restriction requirements.
• Discuss adult health and family dynamics with staff and other health professionals.
• Develop and deliver workshops.
• Create seasonal and culturally relevant cycle menus for Head Start programs.
• Serve as food and nutrition expert for senior centers.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist through the Commission on Dietetic Registration is required.
• Spanish Speaking Required.
• Experience with community programs and adult nutrition.
• Proficient in the use of Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Drive), MS Word, Zoom.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.
• The ideal candidate must be a self-starter.
• Experience working with Seniors (65 age +).
