Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles, WA, seeks a Dietitian to provide nutrition care, counseling, and education to patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will participate in diabetes management education, and contribute to menu planning and patient meal plans within a multidisciplinary team.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in dietetics and registration as a RD, with Master’s preferred.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The primary function of the dietitian is to provide nutrition care, counseling and education to patients. Works with patients who are receiving treatment in multiple areas including medical/surgical, rehabilitation, long-term care, oncology, critical care, and cardiac rehabilitation. Also provides education in diabetes management and maternal and child nutrition/public health. Dietitians provide in-patient care and out-patient counseling at the medical center and its facilities and participate in public speaking, seminars and group classes. Dietitians also serve as advisors in menu planning, patient meal plans, social service and educational settings.
