Job summary

WeCare Centers at Sycamore Care Center in Montoursville, PA, is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team. The role focuses on medical nutrition therapy, nutrition assessments, and care plan development for residents. You will follow the Diet Manual and regulatory standards, participate in QA/QI programs, and assist the Dietary Manager in daily operations.

Excellent communication and knowledge of EMR/MDS are valued. A ServSafe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian required and essential for patient care.
• Strong communication skills and collaboration with care teams.
• Knowledge of food safety and ServSafe is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education and intervention for residents.
• Follows the Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures.
• Complies with federal/state/accrediting standards while honoring HIPAA and patient rights.
• Participates in patient satisfaction programs and QA/QI initiatives.
• Assists Dietary Manager in all dietary department operations.
