WeCare Centers at Sycamore Care Center in Montoursville, PA, is actively seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our team. The role focuses on medical nutrition therapy, nutrition assessments, and care plan development for residents. You will follow the Diet Manual and regulatory standards, participate in QA/QI programs, and assist the Dietary Manager in daily operations.

Excellent communication and knowledge of EMR/MDS are valued. A ServSafe certification is preferred.

Competenze

• Registered Dietitian required and essential for patient care.
• Strong communication skills and collaboration with care teams.
• Knowledge of food safety and ServSafe is preferred but not required.

WeCare Centers at Sycamore Care Centeris actively seeking a committed,Registered Dietitianfor our community inMontoursville, PA. OurDietitianis a responsible to ensure the optimal level of quality care is provided to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides medical nutrition therapy including nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for the patient population

• Follows all guidelines as outlined within the Company Diet Manual and the Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual

• Complies with all regulatory standards to include federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, and patient rights policies

• Participates in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs

• Will assist Dietary Manager in all operations of the dietary department as needed

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• At least 1 years' experience in Skilled Nursing Homes or LTC facilities

• Must be a Registered Dietitian.

• Knowledgeable with State and Federal DOH rules and regulations for Skilled Nursing Homes

• Expertise in performing Nutritional Assessments.

• Expertise in creating and modifying Nutritional Care Plans

• Familiar with MDS, EMR software for Clinical Documentation

• Excellent communication skills

• ServSafe certification preferred but not required
