Job summary
Northern Dauphin Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide expert nutrition care for residents, including assessments, care plan development, and ongoing monitoring. The role offers some remote flexibility within a primarily onsite setting.
Ideal candidates are licensed in Pennsylvania with a bachelor's in nutrition or dietetics, plus strong knowledge of therapeutic diets and regulatory standards. Collaboration with the care team is essential to improve resident outcomes.
Qualifications
- Licensed RD in PA and Bachelor's in Nutrition or Dietetics.
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic diets and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with EMR systems is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents.
- Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans.
- Monitor nutritional status and adjust care plans as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to integrate dietary services.
- Guide dietary staff on menu planning and regulatory compliance.
- Educate residents and families on dietary modifications and goals.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state dietary regulations.
