Job summary

HHS is seeking a Registered Dietitian for Maria Parham Health in Henderson, NC. The role covers complete nutritional assessments and evidence-based interventions for inpatient and outpatient care, with collaboration across patients, families, nursing, and clinical teams.

Starting salary is $63,000 per year, negotiable based on experience, plus a $3,000 RD sign-on bonus. The organization covers CDR/licensure fees and offers ongoing CEUs, benefits, and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed dietitian as required by state regulations
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field
• Knowledge of regulatory standards
• Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and provide interventions using evidence-based practices for both inpatient and outpatient care
• Provide education to patients, families, nursing, food service, and other facility staff on nutritional needs
• Document assessments of patients with nutritional goals and interventions in the medical record
• Communicate with physicians and clinical staff on patients’ nutritional status
• Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements
• Attend patient rounds and maintain clinical nutrition policies to support regulatory compliance
