Job summary

Elior North America is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join the healthcare team at Kane Dietitians in Pittsburgh. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and improve residents’ quality of life in alignment with goals.

Responsibilities include providing nutrition expertise to the care team, adhering to professional standards, collaborating across departments, and driving continuous quality improvement initiatives within the facility.

Qualifications

• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulations for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in developing, reviewing, and improving quality improvement programs.
