What You’ll Do:

Provide individualized, science-backed nutrition counseling through telehealth and in-office sessions.

Use Healthie to manage appointments, track progress, and maintain open communication with clients.

Create real-life, sustainable nutrition strategies that fit each client’s lifestyle—no restrictive plans here!

Be a partner in your clients’ success, helping them achieve long-term behavior change through education and coaching.

What You Need to Succeed:

Passion for nutrition counseling & client-centered care

Strong understanding of motivational interviewing, intuitive eating, and lifestyle-focused nutrition

Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and a HIPAA-compliant workspace for telehealth consults

Access to transportation for in-person sessions in Atlanta and/or Roswell

Proficiency in technology (experience with Healthie is a plus!)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform thorough nutritional assessments to identify clients’ nutritional knowledge, goals, and requirements, including evaluating lab work, medication, meal preparation abilities, and social history related to food.

Craft and continuously refine client-specific goals, diligently measuring progress and adjusting strategies as necessary.

Apply behavior change principles to assist clients in recognizing and overcoming barriers.

Deliver ongoing nutritional education and positive reinforcement.

Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to establish specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals.

Monitor client progress, evaluating the effectiveness of interventions and making necessary adjustments.

Collaborate with the Lead RD for strategic client goal attainment discussions.

Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations; secure communication is maintained through Healthie’s in-app messaging service.

Utilize intuitive/mindful eating, Healthie, Eat Love, and Fullscript platforms, as well as perform clinical lab work interpretations related to nutrition.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in dietetics, human nutrition, or a closely related field from an Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics accredited program, with at least one year of relevant experience.

A Master’s Degree in a related field is highly regarded.

Registration as a Dietitian by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics Commission on Dietetic Registration, with CDR registration mandatory.

Licensure as a Registered Dietitian or the willingness to obtain licensure in GA. Additional state licensures are a plus.

A comprehensive understanding of the scientific principles and practices in nutrition and dietetics.

Ability to see a variety of client diagnoses.

Compensation:

This hybrid remote/in-person position offers a competitive pay range of $40- $50 per hour for individual client-facing sessions. Additional compensated opportunities may also be available for dietitians experienced with in-person group learning sessions.
