Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics with a Registered Dietitian certification
• One to two years of relevant experience as a Registered Dietitian, preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:

This is a community-based, hybrid position. The Registered Dietitian (RD) meets with individuals with intellectual, developmental, or physical disabilities in group homes, adult foster care homes, and/or private family homes. The RD may work from home when not visiting with individuals in the community.

• Perform nutritional assessments using evidence-based information and standards to determine nutritional needs.
• Assist in coordination of care with community physicians when making nutritional recommendations.
• Evaluate, develop, and train on measurable goals, objectives, and clinical treatment plans.
• Develop individual meal plans.
• Monitor nutritional plans based on individual needs.
• Provide individuals served and home caregivers with nutritional guidelines.
