Job summary

Elior North America is seeking an experienced registered dietitian for Benedictine New Brighton, MN. You will assess residents' nutritional needs, initiate interventions to improve status, and support quality of life in alignment with patients' goals.

You will educate the health care team, ensure compliance with practice standards and regulations, and work with other departments to implement dining and nutrition procedures while contributing to quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Pass national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interacting with other departments in setting up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participating in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
