Job summary

Elior Living is seeking an experienced registered dietitian to join our healthcare team at Benedictine New Brighton - Innsbruck. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and improve residents’ nutritional status and quality of life in line with goals.

You will educate staff and residents, follow professional standards and regulatory requirements, and contribute to continuous quality improvement within the dining and nutrition program. This is an onsite role in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Passes national exam by the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies for dining services and nutrition.
• Actively participate in ongoing quality improvement programs.
