Job summary

Elior Living's Benedictine New Brighton is seeking a registered dietitian to join the healthcare team on site in New Brighton, MN. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and help residents maintain optimal status and quality of life.

You will educate the care team, residents, and families, adhere to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and participate in continuous quality improvement within our dining and nutrition programs.

Qualifications

• Requires national examination by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligibility.
• Completes continuing education hours every five years per CDR guidelines.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients, residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Work with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Participate in continuous quality improvement programs.
