Job summary

Elior North America is hiring a Full-Time Registered Dietitian for the Mississippi State Hospital – Whitfield location. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and enhance quality of life aligned with patient goals within Cura Hospitality’s healthcare team.

You will work to educate staff, follow standards, and participate in quality improvement while ensuring regulatory compliance and resident rights are upheld.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national exam by CDR or eligible by Academy standards.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every 5 years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulations for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to set up procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of quality improvement programs.
