Job summary

LGTC Group invites a Registered Dietitian to join its new Eating Disorder PHP/IOP program in Burlingame. You will coordinate nutritional care for PHP, IOP and outpatient clients, perform assessments, and provide counseling to clients and families.

The role requires in-person work with a flexible schedule and offers opportunities to participate in case management, group seminars, meal planning, and discharge planning. Competitive hourly pay is offered.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian, must provide state license.
• Experience working in the mental health and/or eating disorder field.
• Familiarity with state survey process and compliance to nutrition care regulations.
• Flexibility in work hours and work arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nutritional care of PHP, IOP and outpatient clients and complete nutritional assessments.
• Provide nutritional counseling education for clients and their families.
• Participate in case management and treatment planning.
• Assist in meal planning and preparation for clients, reintegrating food and beverages to individuals in a healthy manner.
• Perform individual personalized nutrition and wellness assessments and coaching.
• Lead and facilitate health and wellness educational group and individual seminars.
• Develop educational resources.
• Assist in aftercare planning for clients, helping facilitate nutrition and diet into discharge planning.
• Communicate effectively and enthusiastically with clients and/or families.

LGTC Group provides a wide range of treatment options including partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs, residential, psychiatry, psychotherapy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Ketamine treatment, and Neuropsychological testing.

Seeking a Dietitian for new Eating Disorder PHP/IOP Program

Eating Disorder PHP/IOP program at Los Gatos Therapy Center helps clients, who struggle with Eating Disorders to manage their behaviors, learn better coping skills, and gain all necessary tools to continue on the path to recovery. General Responsibilities
