Job summary

LGTC Group in San Jose, California, is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a residential program serving adults and adolescents. You will provide on-site nutrition care within a multidisciplinary team, integrating nutrition into treatment plans and working closely with psychiatry, nursing, and case management.

You will complete assessments, design and monitor meals, coach at the table, and participate in discharge planning and family involvement.

Qualifications

Credentials: Registered Dietitian or eligible for registration; ACEND-accredited supervised practice program.
At hire, state licensure/certification must be current; graduate degree may be required for new eligibility.

Responsibilities

Complete nutritional assessments at admission and build an individualized plan for each client.
Design, monitor, and adjust meal plans as clients progress through the program.
Provide meal support and coaching at the table to help clients develop healthy relationships with food.
Flag and manage refeeding risk with nursing and medical staff.
Collaborate with kitchen/food service on menus and therapeutic diets.
Run nutrition groups and meet with clients individually; involve families especially for adolescents.
Participate in treatment team meetings and discharge planning.
