Job summary

Park Royal Hospital, part of Acadia Healthcare, is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to promote health and recovery within a behavioral health setting. The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and day-shift hours.

You will assess nutritional needs, approve menus, counsel patients and coordinate with the treatment team to support care plans. A Bachelor’s in Dietetics and RD licensure are required; prior experience with eating disorders and substance use is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or related field required for licensure.
• Experience with Eating Disorders and Substance use preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs, plan diets, and provide counseling.
• Approve patient menus and nutritional supplements.
• Advise on dietary plans, modifications, and food selection.
• Provide nutrition assessments per policy and regulation.
• Counsel individuals and groups on healthy eating.
• Collaborate with physicians to determine nutritional needs.
