Job summary

Park Royal Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to join a leading Acadia Healthcare facility. The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, day hours, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) match.

The Dietitian will assess nutritional needs, develop care plans, counsel patients, and collaborate with physicians to tailor diets for recovery from mental health and co-occurring disorders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or similar field acceptable for licensure.
• Experience with Eating Disorders and Substance use strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess nutritional needs and develop dietary-care plans with counseling.
• Approve patient menus and nutritional supplements.
• Advise patients and families on nutrition principles and diet plans.
• Provide nutritional assessments per facility policy and regulation.
• Review and approve facility menus.
• Counsel individuals and groups on nutrition and healthy eating habits.
• Consult with physicians to determine dietary needs and restrictions.
• Participate in the treatment team as appropriate.
• Promote better health by speaking to groups about diet and nutrition.
