Job summary
Healthcare Services Group Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutrition at a long-term care facility. This role runs Monday through Friday with flexible schedules and offers opportunities to impact resident health and dining services.
You will assess nutrition needs, develop care plans, provide counseling, collaborate with the care team, and ensure CMS/state regulation compliance. This is a hands-on role with ongoing training and development.
Qualifications
- RD license/registration in good standing in the state of practice.
- Registration by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance.
- Possess or eligible for multi-site RD credential as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents' nutrition needs and document plans in the EMR.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on findings.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve health outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to CMS, State, and Federal regulations and standards.
- Provide coverage across multiple buildings as needed.
