Job summary

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Registered Dietitian to manage clinical nutritional services at a long-term care facility. This role offers Monday–Friday schedules with flexibility, contributing to residents' health and wellbeing.

You will assess nutrition needs, develop care plans, educate residents and families, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with regulations while supporting overall patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Holds a Certification/License in good standing within the state of practice.
• RD licensure eligibility or provisional licensure accepted in some locations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of state survey process and compliance with nutrition care regulations (preferred).
• COVID-19 vaccination policy compliance where required.
• Driver's license for multi-site coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' nutrition needs and document plans in the EMR.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans based on findings and labs.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve overall health.
• Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and federal regulations and company standards.
• Provide coverage in multiple buildings based on company needs.
