Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Dietitian in Boise to provide clinical nutrition in inpatient rehab. The role offers flexible pool scheduling, personalized diet plans, and patient education to support recovery.

You will assess nutritional needs, develop care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a hospital setting. Licensure and CDR registration are required.

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• State licensure required
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Food & Nutrition
• Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred
• One year of clinical dietetics experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ nutritional needs and develop/implement personalized dietary plans
• Counsel patients per physician orders and diet education needs, including post-discharge diets
• Monitor nutritional status and coordinate with physicians and other care team members
• Evaluate referral orders to determine adequacy of nutrition intake methods
• Implement care plans, adapt menus, and assist patients with special dietary needs
• Conduct calorie counts and provide recommendations
• Review menus for nutritional adequacy
• Document information in the medical record according to standards

Job Details / Responsibilities

• Evaluate referral orders to determine adequacy of nutrition intake methods
• Implement nutritional care plans, adapt menus, and assist patients with special dietary needs
• Conduct calorie counts and make appropriate recommendations
• Review, revise, and sign off menus for nutritional adequacy
• Document pertinent information in the medical record to established standards

Qualifications

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (listed as American Dietetic Association on posting)
• State licensure required
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited institution with a major in Food & Nutrition
• Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred
• One year of clinical dietetics experience preferred
