Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Registered Dietitian - Clinical in Boise, Idaho, to support inpatient rehab with personalized nutrition plans and patient education. This on-site, permanent role emphasizes collaboration with physicians and care teams to improve recovery outcomes.

The ideal candidate will hold a CDR registration, state licensure, and a degree in Food & Nutrition, with preferred clinical dietetics experience. Join a mission-driven team focused on patient well-being and education.

Qualifications

• Counsel patients and develop individualized dietary plans.
• Assess nutritional needs and translate physician orders into meal plans.
• Monitor status and adjust plans in collaboration with care teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ nutritional needs and develop/implement personalized dietary plans
• Counsel and instruct patients per physician orders and diet education needs, including post-discharge diets
• Monitor nutritional status and communicate with physicians and other disciplines involved in care
• Evaluate referral orders to determine adequacy of nutrition intake methods
• Implement nutritional care plans, adapt menus, and assist patients with special dietary needs
• Conduct calorie counts and make appropriate recommendations
• Review, revise, and sign off menus for nutritional adequacy
• Document pertinent information in the medical record to established standards

Qualifications:

• Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (listed as American Dietetic Association on posting)
• State licensure required
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree from an accredited institution with a major in Food & Nutrition
• Membership in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics preferred
• One year of clinical dietetics experience preferred
