Park Royal Behavioral Health Services is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to join our behavioral health team in Park Royal Hospital. The role focuses on nutrition assessment, diet planning, counseling, and collaboration with medical staff to promote health and recovery.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Dietetics or related field and current RD licensure eligibility; experience with eating disorders and substance use is strongly preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition or similar field acceptable for licensure.
• Current registered dietitian or eligible for endorsement by the state in which the facility provides services.
• Experience with Eating Disorders and Substance use strongly preferred in facilities working with those patient populations.

Responsabilidades

• Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counseling.
• Approve patient menus and nutritional supplements.
• Advise patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plans, diet modifications and food selection and preparation.
• Provide nutritional assessments per facility policy and regulation.
• Review and approve menus developed by the facility.
• Counsel individuals and groups on nutrition, healthy eating habits and monitoring to improve quality of life.
• Consult with physicians and health care personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions.
• Participate in treatment team as appropriate.
