Job summary

Nutrition That Works, LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to support a 88-bed long-term care facility in Woodstock, VA on a part-time, on-site basis.

The role focuses on nutrition assessments, care planning, MDS documentation, enteral feedings, wound and weight change recommendations, and HIPAA confidentiality.

Background in LTC and MDS preferred; start date in two weeks; 8 hours/week on-site.

Qualifications

• Completing nutritional assessments and maintaining documentation.
• Documenting with the Nutrition Care Process in the EMR system.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary care plan and food service teams.
• Performing enteral feeding calculations and recommendations.
• Making recommendations for wounds and weight changes.
• Completing MDS - Section K.
• Maintaining HIPAA confidentiality and patient information.

Your AssignmentWill Include:

• Completingnutritional assessments and maintaining documentation
• Documentingwith the Nutrition Care Process in the electronic medical recordsystem
• Collaborating withthe interdisciplinary care plan team andfood service team
• Calculations and recommendations for enteralfeedings
• Making recommendations for wounds and significant weight changes
• Completing MDS - Section K
• Maintaining confidentiality and patient information in accordance with HIPAA

Requirements:

• Credentialed as aRegistered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)through the CDR
• Must pass a pre-employment screening process, including background and health checks
