Stockton Nursing Center in Stockton, CA is hiring a Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our dedicated care team. You will assess the nutritional care of each resident and advise on dietary plans to meet individual needs, including lab value interpretation and therapeutic diets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in an acute or long-term care environment.
• Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations relevant to the dietary field.
• Understanding aging and nutrition needs of the long-term care residents.

Responsibilities

• Assess the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center.
• Advise the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on the nutritional status of residents, including lab value interpretation and therapeutic diets.
• Monitor nutritional intake and food/drug interactions to ensure overall customer satisfaction and high standards of care.

If yes, how you will contribute to the team:

As the Registered Dietitian (RD), you will be responsible for assessing the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center. You will advise the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on the nutritional status of residents, including lab value interpretation, nutritional intake, consumption patterns, food/drug interactions, therapeutic diets, and overall customer satisfaction. Your role is key to ensuring optimal nutrition for our residents and maintaining high standards of care.

Must Have:

• 3-5 years’ experience in an acute or long-term care environment.
• Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal/state/local) as they pertain to the dietary field, including interpretation and implementation.
• Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychosocial, and social needs of the long-term care resident population with regard to nutrition.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC).
