Job summary

Willows Post Acute in Willows, CA is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our team. You will assess the nutritional care of each resident and collaborate with the clinical team to optimize diet plans and nutrition support.

You will interpret lab values, monitor intake, and help implement therapeutic diets while upholding high standards of care and resident satisfaction in a compassionate, family-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in an acute or long-term care environment.
• Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal/state/local) as they pertain to the dietary field.
• Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the needs of the long-term care resident population regarding nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Assess the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center.

If yes, how you will contribute to the team:

As the Registered Dietitian (RD), you will be responsible for assessing the nutritional care of each resident/patient in the center. You will advise the clinical team, dietary department, and Administration on the nutritional status of residents, including lab value interpretation, nutritional intake, consumption patterns, food/drug interactions, therapeutic diets, and overall customer satisfaction. Your role is key to ensuring optimal nutrition for our residents and maintaining high standards of care.

Must Have:

• 3-5 years’ experience in an acute or long-term care environment.
• Excellent knowledge of skilled nursing regulations (federal/state/local) as they pertain to the dietary field, including interpretation and implementation.
• Excellent knowledge of the aging process and the physical, psychosocial, and social needs of the long-term care resident population with regard to nutrition.
