Job summary

WeCare Centers at Heritage Care Center in Pittsburgh, PA is actively seeking a committed Registered Dietitian to ensure high quality nutrition care for residents. The role provides medical nutrition therapy, education, and intervention while following dietary policies and regulatory standards within a Skilled Nursing Home setting.

The candidate will contribute to QA/PI programs, participate in departmental meetings, and support the Dietary Manager in operations of the dietary department.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Skilled Nursing Homes or LTC facilities.
• Knowledge of State and Federal DOH rules for Skilled Nursing Homes.
• Expertise in performing Nutritional Assessments.
• Expertise in creating and modifying Nutritional Care Plans.
• Familiar with MDS, EMR software for Clinical Documentation.
• Excellent communication skills.
• ServSafe certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

WeCare Centers at Heritage Care Center is actively seeking a committed, Registered Dietitian for our community in Pittsburgh, PA. Our Dietitian is a responsible to ensure the optimal level of quality care is provided to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
