Piedmont Health SeniorCare in Pittsboro, NC is seeking a Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition care and education to participants and oversee dietary services. The role requires evaluation of nutritional status, development of care plans, and coordination with physicians and other health professionals.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s in nutrition with ACEND approval, prefer a Master’s, and have experience with frail or elderly populations and clinical dietetics.

About Position: The primary responsibility of the Dietitian is to provide nutrition care and education to Piedmont Health SeniorCare participants and provide oversight of dietary services. Evaluate the participants nutritional status, develop and implement nutritional care plans, assess nutrient requirements, recommend nutritional prescriptions, evaluate participant tolerance and effectiveness of nutritional care and communicate nutritional data and information to the physician’s and other health professionals. The Dietitan will also supervise the dietary coordinator.
Qualifications –
Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: Must have be an activeRegistered Dietitian Nutritionist (RND), Registered Dietitian (RD), or Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) in the state of North Carolina. Valid NC driver’s license.
Immunizations: Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment.
Pay Range: $59,050 to $79,358(commensurate with years of experience)
