Job summary

HHS is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join Iredell Memorial Hospital's culinary team in Statesville, NC. You will guide patients and staff on medical nutrition therapy, coordinate diet orders, and support quality care through evidence-based interventions.

The role requires an RD with state licensure, a degree in Food and Nutrition or related field, and strong communication skills. Starting salary is $65,000 with benefits and opportunities for CEUs and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with Commission of Dietetic Registration and licensed dietitian as required per state regulations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards.
• Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and provide interventions using evidence-based practices for inpatient and outpatient care
• Provide education to patients, families, nursing, food service, and other facility staff on nutritional needs
• Document assessment of patients with nutritional goals and interventions in the medical record
• Communicate with physicians and clinical staff on patients’ nutritional status
• Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements
• Attend patient rounds and maintain clinical nutrition policies to support regulatory compliance

Responsibilities

Registered Dietitian at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Statesville, NC

Starting salary $65,000 (Negotiable based on experience)

Extra benefits inculde paid CDR and state licensure fees with up to 18 FREE CEUs annually!
