Job summary

HHS is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join Maria Parham Health in Henderson, NC, leading nutritional care across inpatient and outpatient services. You will assess patients, educate staff and families, and coordinate with physicians to ensure high-quality, compliant nutrition care that supports patient satisfaction and healing.

Responsibilities include implementing nutrition therapy plans, documenting progress in medical records, and participating in rounds to uphold regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed dietitian as required per state regulations.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and computer literacy.

• Complete nutritional assessments and provide interventions using evidence-based practices for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Provide education to patients, families, nursing, food service, and other facility staff on nutritional needs.
• Document assessment of patients with nutritional goals and interventions in the medical record.
• Communicate with physicians and clinical staff on patients’ nutritional status.
• Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements.
• Attend patient rounds and maintain clinical nutrition policies to support regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Registered Dietitian at Maria Parham Health in Henderson, NC

Starting salary $63,000 (Negotiable based on experience) + $3,000 RD sign-on bonus

Registration Eligible candidates accepted!

Extra benefits include paid CDR and state licensure fees with up to 18 FREE CEUs annually!

Requirements
