Job summary

Hillside Health and Rehabilitation, located in Florida, is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian (RD) for a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). You will assess nutritional needs, develop care plans, and provide counseling to residents, families, and staff to improve health outcomes.

You will collaborate with nursing, therapy, and dietary teams, document progress, and ensure compliance with dietary regulations while supporting safe, high-quality food service operations.

Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Dietitian in good standing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
• SNF/Long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diets.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Resident-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate the nutritional needs of residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF).
• Create, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans.
• Provide counseling and education to residents, families, and staff.
• Partner with nursing, therapy, and dietary staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Document assessments, progress, and updates in medical records.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and SNF dietary regulations.
• Support food service operations to maintain safety, quality, and satisfaction.
