Job summary

Hale Makua Health Services on Maui seeks a registered dietitian to join our care team at Kahului. You will coordinate nutritional care for residents, review menus, and guide staff.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Dietetics, active RD and Hawaii license, with at least two years in health-care food service and supervisory experience preferred. We offer PTO, tuition assistance, and a mission-driven team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university.
• Must be registered with the American Dietetic Association and licensed in accordance with Hawaii state laws when applicable.
• Minimum of 2 years of food service experience in a health care program, preferably long-term care.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a health care program preferred. Maintains continuing education hours with CDR for registration.

Hale Makua Health Services is a Maui based non-profit that improves the well-being of those in its care through compassionate personalized health services. We are devoted to helping Maui's Elders live their best lives. Hale Makua's Kahului location is a 254-bed nursing facility.

The Position

We're looking for caring and dedicated Registered Dietitian (RD) to assist in the coordination of nutritional care for our guests/residents/Kupuna. Responsibilities include:

• Performs assessments on clients in a timely manner according to Federal and State regulations.
