Job summary

Medical Hill Healthcare is currently seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our team on a full-time basis. The RD will support residents' nutritional health by providing individualized care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities include conducting nutritional assessments, developing care plans, monitoring status, and delivering nutrition education to residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
• Current RD/RDN credential.
• California licensure or eligibility.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Strong clinical, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-centered.
• Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents.
• Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans.
• Monitor residents' nutritional status, weight trends, dietary intake, and related health needs.
• Make dietary recommendations based on residents' medical conditions and nutritional requirements.
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, dietary staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in care planning meetings and provide nutrition-related recommendations.
• Monitor and document residents' progress and update nutrition plans as needed.
• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents, families, and staff when appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with applicable dietary, clinical, and regulatory standards.
• Support quality improvement initiatives related to nutrition and resident care.

Medical Hill Healthcare is seeking a knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our team on a Full‑Time basis.

The Registered Dietitian will play an important role in supporting the nutritional health and overall well‑being of our residents by providing individualized nutrition care and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
