Job summary

Complete Care in New Jersey is hiring a full-time Registered Dietitian to join our long-term care team. The role focuses on developing and implementing dietary plans, nutrition assessments, and collaboration with the care team to support residents' health and well-being.

Applicants must be a licensed Registered Dietitian in New Jersey, with at least two years of LTC experience (or one year as a consulting RD).

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Registered Dietitian in the State of New Jersey.
• Minimum of two years of professional dietitian experience in long-term care, including some administrative responsibility; or one year of experience as a registered consulting dietitian.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing preliminary and comprehensive assessments of each resident's dietary needs.
• Develop written dietary plans of care identifying nutritional concerns, resident needs, and goals.
• Encourage residents and families to participate in the development and review of care plans.
• Ensure dietary personnel understand and follow each resident's care plan when providing daily dietary services.
• Identify special equipment and utensils required to meet individual resident needs.
• Review and interpret information in residents' medical charts and provide recommendations for appropriate medical nutrition therapy.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support residents' nutritional health and overall well-being.

$85,000–$95,000 per year, based on experience
