Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian in Kentucky.
• Experience managing nutritional and clinical food service operations.
• Experience in a long-term care clinical setting with a homelike environment.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Assure nutritional assessments are completed for all residents within regulatory time frames.
• Make nutrition-related recommendations to Nursing Services and Dining Services.
• Monitor and evaluate resident nutritional needs with the clinical team; participate in meetings and planning.
• Obtain physician orders to meet residents' nutritional needs; coordinate as necessary.
• Develop, review and approve menus including extended diets and therapeutics.

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Assure nutritional assessments are completed to include the MDS on all residents within regulatory time frames and according to facility policies.
• Make recommendations to Nursing Services and Dining Services on nutritional care.
• Monitor and evaluate resident nutritional needs and participate with clinical team on nutritional to include nutritional meetings and planning.
• Obtain physician orders and support as necessary to meet the nutritional needs of the resident.
• Develop, review and approve menus to include extended and therapeutics.
